THE ENEMY I Know

I will write about “my Jericho experience” some day😀🤣 .

If ever the Devil was to go on holiday, some people need not fill any application to sit in for him.🤣

I have been in this world for a while now, never have I seen evil triumph over good, a lie triumph over the truth and injustice prevail.

While men’s jealousy, envy, hatred and hardness of heart may put the righteous at a position where he feels he cannot withstand the pain and suffering being meted out to him anymore; like one roused from sleep, one day, the Lord will arise, and like a fiery tempest cut down all evil doers right in their tracks, that will be their end…

Thank God for WhatsApp that conceals their secrets😂🤭 Wo, asiri won o ba ti tu tipe tipe! My dear, they are hiding under the “do not show read receipts” to read and follow your status every second. Whenever you are happy sha😂 ahhhh😭😭😭 area scatter, na so dem go dey vex o, awon “catch me if you can gang” they will monitor your every move, waiting for you to fall, and if you don’t fall? They will set a trap for you…

By their fruits you shall know them…

she’s okay but there is this way she walks, the way she dresses, there is a certain way she talks, she looks a certain way, her knuckles don’t blend, when she sits her leg twists, she has body odour, her legs are not straight, bleh bleh bleh🤪”

Well, how do all these affect the ‘essence’ of a Person? Have you noticed that in almost all the emojis that reflect joy, the eyes are closed? This is because in love, you need to close your eyes to the person’s imperfections and focus more on the person. You got to find a way to circumvent!

God has created you for a purpose and that purpose is love! Begin to practise love in your daily life.

Post 13 million nice pictures, they will not comment, but post one where you had an accident, there will come the “oohs, aahs,” these kind of human beings want you to dwell in pain, because that’s their sole purpose in life; ‘to inflict pain’ especially when they feel you are a sort of threat (a threat they have concocted in their minds) to them, they will hyperventilate, they will be furious and get a high blood pressure.

Tell the funniest joke, they will not laugh o, they are constantly second-guessing you🤷🏻‍♀ “Why is she doing this? May be she wants my attention, maybe she wants something from me, etc…”

I wish I could get a chance to make the world happy, that there be no bitter people in the world again. (I created a Facebook group called; “Happiness Vendor” yesterday where I hop that we the members will not only be happy people but encourage others to be.

When you are bitter, more than harming the person you are aiming, you harm yourself, for Poison only corrodes the vessel in which it is stored!

Have you seen some people? They go through life in a sullen mood, their faces tell their mystery, the mystery they permit themselves to go through.

They don’t smile, or talk or laugh, they are constantly upbeat about something! 🤦🏻‍♀🙆🏻

Ariro-ara Eledumare (one of the numerous names of God in Yoruba language which depicts God as a rumbling thunderstorm, the Creator).

No matter what the Lord does for them, they carry a long face! They remind me of King Ahab, such people get befitting partners in their Jezebels.

When you tell someone to behave like you, abeg you who? When you say someone does not blend in, blend into what exactly? Who made your norm, culture, religion or way of thinking the norm (sic)?

What is all of these borne out of? A seeming Pride, A false sense of self-importance and a false sense of self-worth, an egoistic and narcissistic attitude!

Is she even a serious business person like this; me that I am a very busy person😋🤪 ‘busy adding items to the cart for Ali Express checkout on Black Friday” 🤣

Chai! I wish I could get a chance to make the world happy, that there be no bitter people in the world again, more than harming the person you are aiming, you harm yourself! A Poison only corrodes the vessel in which it is stored! Have you seen some people? Oju won a ri Pakoro😑, gbogbo eke a sa won nu, oju a jo n naa!🤦🏻‍♀🙆🏻Ariro-ara Eledumare! No matter what the Lord does for them, they are constantly running, pursuing a seemingly irrelevant person! Akika🙆🏻They remind me of King Ahab! well, such people get befitting partners in their Jezebel.

What are all of these set of negative emotions borne out of? A seeming Pride,A false sense of self-importance and a false sense of self-worth, an egoistic and narcissistic attitude! When you say someone does not blend in, blend into what exactly? Who made your norm, culture, religion or way of thinking the norm.

You better get rid of all these else you will die before your time with nothing to your name other than your inflated ego. Awa ta maa din Akara e, ta maa je leleyii, awa ma mu ‘and co’ lojo isinku e, because happy people live the longest.

While reading this, you must have recognised “the enemy I know”, share this post with them. Are you “the Enemy I know” in other people’s lives?

Con, sash ursev, sheque ursev.

Footnote:

Awa ta maa din Akara e, ta maa je leleyii, awa ma mu ‘and co’ lojo isinku e

In the Yoruba culture, after someone dies, akara (bean cake) traditionally fried in Palm oil is distributed to friends and families and around the neighbourhood especially 8 days or 41 days following his death but in most places, 41 days is appropriate.

and co” is the Uniform that is chosen to celebrate at Owanbe (Yoruba parties). The “and co” is chosen to set people apart. For example; the children may choose a certain fabric while the friends and family members choose another; this type is called “Aso-ebi“(uniform for the family)

So, what I am saying is; if one sends oneself to an early grave, we will eat and distribute his bean cake and wear uniform colourful fabrics at his burial.

In simple terms, we will outlive him.

This was the last owanbe I attended; you cam see our colourful fabrics. it was a celebration of life for a woman that had passed on at over 90 years of age! She was a philanthropist par excellence, it was a joyful occasion. People came from home and abroad to celebrate her life.
Held at the KFA Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos; it was a delightful experience
