Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do on Ewaade. It applies to every User — Providers, Customers, and visitors. Breach of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination, and may also be reported to law enforcement or relevant regulators.
1. General principles

2.2 Fraud and financial crime
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
- Card testing, transaction laundering, or processing payments that do not match the registered business category.
- Fake bookings or fake reviews intended to inflate ratings or to cycle funds.
- Identity fraud, impersonation, or providing false KYC documents.
2.3 Harassment, hate, and abuse
- Threats, harassment, doxxing, stalking, or any form of abuse.
- Content that promotes hate or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

- Non-consensual or extreme content.
2.4 Platform abuse
- Reverse-engineering, scraping at scale, or attacking the Platform.
- Circumventing security or rate limits.
- Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Using the Platform to compete with us or to migrate Users off-platform to avoid fees.
- Sharing or reselling account access without permission.
2.5 Spam and misleading content
- Unsolicited commercial communications outside the legitimate transactional flows of the Platform.
- Misleading service descriptions, fake credentials, or false claims about qualifications or licences.
- Listing prices that materially differ from those actually charged after booking.
3. Provider-specific obligations
In addition to the above, Providers must:
- Operate only the business they registered for; not list services outside that scope without prior platform approval.
- Hold any qualifications, insurance, or licences required for their services in their jurisdiction (for example, beauty/aesthetic qualifications, health-and-safety registrations).
- Comply with hygiene and health-and-safety standards.
- Disclose any material change of ownership, registration status, or business activity.
- Pay applicable taxes on their own behalf. Ewaade does not withhold income tax on Provider payouts.
- Not list services on behalf of another business without proper authorisation.
4. Customer-specific obligations
- Use only payment methods that belong to you and are authorised for use.
- Do not abuse cancellation or no-show policies to extract refunds fraudulently.
- Treat Providers and their staff with respect; do not engage in abusive or discriminatory behaviour at the point of service.
- Write reviews honestly and based on actual experience.
5. Reporting violations
If you become aware of conduct that violates this AUP, please report it to support@ewaade.com with as much detail as possible. We treat all reports confidentially.
6. Enforcement
Ewaade reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to:
- Investigate any suspected violation.
- Remove or hide content.
- Restrict access to features.
- Hold or reverse payouts pending investigation.
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
- Refer matters to law enforcement, regulators, or payment-processor risk teams.
- Co-operate with payment providers (Stripe, Paystack) in chargeback, fraud, and KYC matters.
Suspension or termination is at our discretion. We may decline to explain the specific reason where doing so could compromise an investigation or breach a legal restriction.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.
